1. Last Wednesday Oct.  17th, Mara, Coralia and I visited the Mix to try out the HTC Vive for ourselves and have some first hand experience with it. We thought the headset was heavier than expected, but was very fun and immersive. We liked using the controls very simple to maneuver with. We were able to experience the VR headset while sitting down and standing, we didn’t feel disoriented on either occasion. Overall the experience with the headset and controllers were great, although there may be some difficulty with the weight of the headset for the students. We will be bringing the 3 students from MasonLIFE to test out three different headsets; HTC Vive, Oculus rift and Google Daydream on Friday the 19th and let them give us their input on each headset, hopefully allowing us to narrow our choice of VR headset.
